Canon Photomarathon Philippines 2018 winner gets it at third try
The winner of the Canon PhotoMarathon 2018 gets the top spot on his third try. The winner used the Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera.

Luke Anthony Obusan Singson already joined the competition twice before. Now, he won on his third try. The Canon PhotoMarathon is one of the biggest is one of the biggest on-the-spot photography contest in Asia. Singson will now represent the Philippines in Japan for the championship leg of the competition.Canon EOS 60D |
Singson is currently working as a cruise line photographer. He first joined the Canon PhotoMarathon in 2014 as he grew interested with photography through his father. Back then he was using the Canon Power Shot G2. The winning shot was taken with his trusty Canon EOS 60D DSLR camera with an EF 17-40mm f/4L USM lens.
This year's themes for the Canon PhotoMarathon 2018 are "The World in The Eyes of the Next Generation" and "What Makes a Smile". The portion of this year's registration fee as well as proceeds generated from the Canon's CSR program called Print for Smiles were dedicated to help raise funds for Operation Smile Philippines.

Singson expands his arsenal of camera from his EOS 60D, EOS 40D and PowerShot G2 with the new Canon EOS R full-frame mirrorless camera worth PHP 147,998 which was one of his winnings from the competition.
He also gets to take a ViewSonic 24-inch VP2468 Professional Monitor, 1-year membership at Celebrity Fitness and the chance to represent the Philippines at the Canon PhotoMarathon Grand Finals in Japan.
