ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 goes official in PH, price starts at PHP 12,995
Right on schedule, ASUS launched the ZenFone Max Pro M2 in the Philippines. It's the follow-up to the battery and gaming centric Max Pro M1.

The highlights of Max Pro M2
ASUS upgraded its design, screen, internals, cameras, and audio. Also, it still goes with the stock Android 8.1 Oreo that some may like.

It now has a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:9 notched screen, underclocked Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, up to 6GB RAM, up to 64GB storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 5V/2A included USB wall charger.
On the camera part, it goes with the 12MP f/1.8 Sony IMX486 sensor + 5MP depth sensor with PDAF focus and LED flash. It also has a 13MP f/2.0 with face unlock.
As expected, the phone features a fingerprint reader, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and dual SIM slots. It is also one of the few with NFC for the price.
However, ASUS used plastic instead of metal for its body this time.
