The highlights
The Cherry Mobile Flare A2 features a polycarbonate body and a 16:9 5-inch FWVGA IPS panel at 196 ppi. Inside, it runs with decent specs for the price. It goes with the 64-bit Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz and Adreno 304 GPU.
The phone also has 1GB RAM, 8GB of expandable storage with microSD up to 32GB, and 2,000mAh battery.
On the camera part, you will find an 8MP sensor with AF and LED flash. For selfies, there's a basic 2MP snapper.
As expected, the phone also has 4G LTE connectivity with Band 28 700MHz frequency. It also has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and dual SIM slots.
Cherry OS 3.0 |
The interesting part is it runs with a modified version of Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) OS. It has the CherryOS 3.0 skin on the top. Most likely, it will have the optimizations and modifications of Cherry. It also has the same camera UI found on the Flare S6.
