Trust GXT 322 Carus Desert Camo Gaming Headset with Boom Mic

Being able to listen clearly to in-game audio cues can mean the difference between life and death, literary!
A good pair of gaming headphones is definitely important but there is no need to spend hundreds in a gaming headset when you have so many affordable headsets such as the Trust GXT 322 Carus headset with good sound quality to choose from.
The Trust GXT 322 Carus is a very neat gaming headset in desert camo finish and featuring a boom microphone with an extendable and adjustable arm.
The GXT 322 Carus headphone housing and headband exterior feature the classic desert pattern camouflage colors which are made of different shades of brown including dark tan, khaki, and brown.
The earcup padding covers are made of meshed crepe fabric which provide good airflow while fitting over the ears comfortably without hurting your ears when worn for a couple of hours. Crepe fabric is naturally rough in texture so you don't get a softly feeling when wearing them.
With that said, having durable fabric on the earpads means longer lifespan for the Trust GXT 322 Carus which is a win-win situation.
The earcup padding is pretty thick too so it keeps the speakers far away from your ears so they won't rub against your ears which is great if you are someone with bigger than average ears.
Talking about ears, you get a big sound out of the Trust GXT 322 Carus headset thanks to 50mm speaker drivers and only 32 ohm impedance so you can easily drive the GXT 322 Carus headset from a the headphone jack of a smartphone for mobile gaming.
The frequency response range is between 20Hz and 20000 Hz so you get balanced sound with detailed treble and deep bass.
The directional sound feels very accurate when playing first-person shooter video games such as Battlefield 4.
There is also nice padding at the base of the top of the headband, making the headset comfortable when sitting on your head. The adjusting mechanism on the headband is simple to operate by pulling up and down the headband.
Trust GXT 322 Carus comes with a non-detachable boom-style microphone with good flexibility, high sensitivity (112 dB) and mute function. The boom mic can be bent at any angle and does a good job at picking up your voice clearly as long as the microphone is directed to your mouth. This is because the microphone uses a unidirectional pickup pattern so sound is picked up predominantly from one direction
The boom mic can be folded up so you can place it away from your mouth when not in use. The GXT 322 Carus mic doesn't feature noise cancellation per say but it does a good job at blocking external noise and/or static when speaking into it thanks to the mic foam cover.
Both the mute mic switch and volume dial are located on the left earcup with the mic mute switch located on top of the left earcup while the volume dial is located at the bottom of the left earcup.
Trust GXT 322 Carus is compatible with the 2015 Xbox one controller with the 3.5mm headphone jack so you can connect the 3.5mm jack plug directly into it.
You can also hook up the Trust GXT 322 Carus to an old Xbox One controller but you will need an extra Microsoft adapter, which is not included. The Trust GXT 322 Carus headset is also compatible with PS4, Nintendo Switch (Audio) and PC.
The 2-meter long cable that comes with the Trust GXT 322 Carus is anti-tangle and made with braided nylon so the cable feels very strong and durable.
pc audio adapter included
